A Day of Texas History

‘A Day In Texas History,’ a special program for homeschool families and all other young learners interested in Texas history. This fall will showcase 19th century careers such as blacksmith, surveyor, cowboy, farmer, dressmaker, teacher, doctor and telegrapher. Mark your calendar: Wednesday, September 23rd. Learners will have the chance to interact with our historical interpreters across the farm and try their hand at many of the skills particular to 1800s jobs. Advance tickets are $6 for adults and children online, if purchased before April 15, 2026, and $8 per person at the gate. All ticket sales are final. No refunds.
