Prodigal Sun

After a prodigal season away from Beerthoven, Invoke has returned with a feast of great music from their classical/minimalist/bluegrass/folk originals to the world premiere of Ignacio Rosado's work Umbrascopes, inspired by the events of the 1878 total eclipse in the heart of Texas. Invoke will also be joined by violist Blake Turner of the Austin Symphony Orchestra for a performance of Karl Mitze's quintet The Wrong Kind of Church. Thanks to our sponsors, this program features two intermissions flush with warm pretzels generously provided by Easy Tiger, cold beer by Lazarus Brewing, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages--at no additional cost!
