ROOTED Workshop

Ground your body. Create your story. Connect with the living network. Join Spaces of Fontana for the inaugural ROOTED Workshop: an inclusive afternoon exploring our relationship with trees through movement, art, poetry, and community. No previous dance or art experience is required. Together, we’ll practice gentle movement and meditation, explore elemental embodiment, create tactile tree-inspired collage, weave collaborative poetry, and learn about caring for Austin’s local canopy with TreeFolks. The workshop will help shape ROOTED, a grant-funded immersive performance coming to Austin in Spring 2027, with community-created movement, words, and artwork inspiring the final work. Price: Free or donation.
