Ethereal Horror Fest

Austin’s dedicated indie genre film festival has survived seven years of terror. So, it’s celebrating with a special opening night appearance from legendary final girl Danielle Harris (Hatchet II, the Halloween series) for her new chiller set in the world of true crime podcasts, Marrow. That’s just the start of three days filled with nightmares and morbid visions, including dozens of shorts and a special screening of the Boogeyman, Hollow Jack, and the Candy Corn Scarecrow’s continued slasher adventures, The Barn Part III. – Richard Whittaker Runs Oct. 16-18.
