The Red Room at Cap City: Yurie Collins

Yurie Collins is one of the leading forces bringing stand-up comedy to a new generation in Japan. Half English and half Japanese, Yurie has built a growing fanbase on both sides of the Pacific. Following the success of the Monsters of Tokyo U.S. tour, which sold out multiple cities across America, Yurie now embarks on her first-ever U.S. solo headlining tour. Her debut English-language hour, Tokyo Glitch, was released in late 2026 across more than 100 streaming and digital platforms worldwide, including Amazon, Apple TV, The Roku Channel, YouTube Movies & TV, Pluto TV, Plex, Fandango at Home, Xumo and PlayStation. Her first Japanese-language special, This Is Me., surpassed 150,000 views on YouTube in its first two days. Drawing on her experiences growing up as a half-Japanese woman in Japan and navigating life between two cultures, Yurie's personal yet relatable storytelling has made her one of the most exciting new voices in international comedy.
