Halloween Bat Paddle

Join us for a spooktacular one-night-only Halloween Bat Paddle on October 30th! On this special seasonal tour, you’ll paddle two miles to the famous Congress Avenue Bridge for a picture-perfect view of over 1.5 million bats taking flight for their nightly feasting. Our 4-mile round-trip paddle is led by one of our excellent guides, who will share the fascinating history and migration of Austin’s Mexican Free-Tailed Bats. Along the way, you’ll also learn about Austin’s iconic skyline and architecture, the historic power plant, Auditorium Shores, the history of Congress Avenue Bridge, and more. The tour lasts approximately three hours, but be prepared for a little wiggle room - the bats are in charge of the schedule! Come paddle with us for a Halloween night you won’t forget. Costumes encouraged!
