A Midsummer Night’s Dream

A Midsummer Night’s Dream opens Ballet Austin’s 2026/27 season with a joyful blend of romance, theatrical spectacle and laugh-out-loud physical comedy. This warm, witty, and endlessly entertaining production runs Friday, September 25 at 7:30 p.m, Saturday, September 26 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, September 27 at 3 p.m. at The Long Center for the Performing Arts in Austin, Texas. Set to Felix Mendelssohn’s lively score, performed live by the Austin Symphony Orchestra, Stephen Mills’ full-length classical ballet transforms Shakespeare’s timeless tale into a playful theatrical experience where lovers become wonderfully lost before finding each other again.
