Named the #1 Jazz Group of the Year by DownBeat, the trio has maintained a celebrated presence at the Village Vanguard since 1997 and has appeared at leading festivals and concert halls around the world. A sixteen-time Grammy nominee with more than sixty recordings, Fred Hersch is widely regarded as one of the most influential jazz pianists of his generation. ATX Chamber Music and Jazz presents two 75-minute performances at Assembly Hall, at 6 and 9 p.m., with no intermission.
